For more information on Safari compatibility, visit Apple Support.
What is two-factor authentication?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. You’ll need an email address and phone number on file to receive a one-time verification code through one of the following methods:
- Text message
- Automated phone call
- Authenticator app (such as Authy)
If you’re logging in from a secure personal device, you may choose Don’t ask for code again on this computer. This option should never be selected on shared or public computers.
How does the phone call verification process work?
If you choose phone call verification, you will receive an automated call with a verification code. Enter the code when prompted. If the call is missed, you will need to request the code again. The incoming call may appear to come from anywhere in the U.S.
What should I do if I did not receive a verification code?
Please confirm the phone number entered is correct. If your information needs to be updated, contact FNBCC at (912) 384-1100 for assistance.
Why am I asked for a verification code every time I log in?
This may occur if:
- You use different browsers
- Your browser history or cookies were deleted
- Your browser settings automatically clear cookies
How do I set up account alerts?
Select the account, choose Alert Preferences, and set balance or transaction thresholds. Alerts may be received by email, text message, or within the app.
Can I view my statements online?
Yes. Select the account you want to review and choose Statements. If you are not enrolled in eStatements, you will have the option to enroll.
Is there a fee for mobile deposit?
No. Mobile deposit within the FNBCC app is free.
When I make a mobile deposit, why doesn't the app automatically take a picture?
The auto capture feature is not currently available, but we are actively working to offer this as soon as possible. When taking the pictures of a check, make sure you're in a well-lit area and the check is placed on a darker surface for contract.
Mortgage FAQs
What documentation should I gather?
- Income verification (Last two years' tax returns, W-2s, 1099s, and your last few pay stubs)
- Drivers' license and Social Security card (or alternative ID)
- Bank statements
- Proof of funds to close (and an explanation of where they came from, if it's not obvious)
- For a Refinance: Current mortgage statement taxes and insurance.
What type of mortgage is best for me?
There are several different types of mortgages to choose from. If you're a veteran, a VA loan could be the best option for you, and if you plan to buy a home in a rural area, a USDA mortgage could give you a no-money-down option.
What fees do I have to pay?
Simple – the same as everyone else! There are set fees that are used by most Companies and Lenders. That’s right, if they say you aren’t paying any in your closing cost, then you’re probably paying for it somewhere else.
What are closing costs?
Closing Costs include taxes, title work, appraisal, insurance and a recording fee – these essentially help pay to get your Home Loan closed.
