Our Story

A History of Banking with a Community Focus

FNBCC was founded with a clear mission: to serve our communities with integrity, personalized service, and a deep commitment to local growth. Our roots run deep in both South Georgia and South Florida —two vibrant regions we proudly call home.

A Legacy of Community Banking

First National Bank of Coffee County opened its doors on September 23, 1991, as a locally owned community bank dedicated to serving Douglas, Georgia and surrounding counties. For 26 years, we grew alongside our neighbors by helping families buy homes, supporting local businesses, and investing in the community we call home.

Building on that foundation, we brought our approach to South Florida as First National Bank Coastal Community, offering true community banking to Palm Beach and Broward counties and, most recently, St. Lucie County. Our model is the one that has served us well: locally managed banking built on relationships and tailored to the needs of the people and businesses we serve.

Though our markets are different, our values are aligned: we believe in the power of relationships, the importance of community, and the value of personalized service. Our decisions are made by financial professionals who live and work in the communities we serve. We understand your goals because we share them, and we're invested in your success because your community is our community. Whether you're in Coffee County or along Florida's coast, you'll find a bank that knows your name, values your business, and is ready to help you take the next step.

FNBCC Advisory Board

What is the Advisory Board?

The Advisory Board is a group of people brought together to offer valuable insights on local business trends; to provide objective advice to FNBCC executive management; and to promote and refer new business to the Bank whenever possible. Members are chosen based on their field of expertise, experience, and stature in the community.

What is the Function of the Advisory Board?

The Advisory Board Members are responsible for assisting FNBCC executive management in better understanding the local community by sharing information on local issues, and by providing ideas on business strategies. Equally important is providing feedback and suggestions regarding the Bank's products, services, and operations resulting from their community contacts and FNBCC’s image in the community from their own personal experiences. The Board's advice will be sought to help enhance FNBCC’s reputation, credibility, and success.
